Colombia is famous for its exceptional coffee, grown across its many regions with diverse microclimates and high altitudes. One such region is Caicedo, located in the western part of Antioquia. Here, smallholder farmers produce top-quality coffee, benefiting from the region’s ideal conditions. Despite a turbulent past, Caicedo has emerged as a thriving hub for specialty coffee, and now, this area is home to some of the finest coffees in Colombia.

We work closely with Pergamino, who collaborates with approximately 50 independent farmers in Caicedo. For this particular lot, nine producers contribute their carefully handpicked, washed, and pulped beans. After fermentation, the coffee is sun-dried to the perfect moisture level. Once processed, it’s sent to Pergamino’s dry mill in Medellín for final preparation. This coffee offers exceptional quality with complex flavors, thanks to the meticulous care taken at every stage.
